FROM VISION
TO DEPLOYMENT

The Coalition for Cyclist Safety brings together leading experts across sectors, all dedicated to significantly improving road safety. By aligning efforts and resources across these critical sectors, we aim to accelerate the widespread deployment of V2X technology.

What is V2X?

Vehicle-to-Everything Technology

V2X, or Vehicle-to-Everything, is a communication technology that enables vehicles, bicycles, and road infrastructure to wirelessly exchange information with each other. By creating awareness between road users before a critical situation develops, V2X technology helps address some of the most common crash scenarios involving cyclists and other vulnerable road users.

The technology exists and is ready to be deployed today.

Uniting Industries
For Safer Roads

The Coalition for Cyclist Safety brings together leading experts across sectors, all dedicated to significantly improving road safety. By aligning efforts and resources across these critical sectors, we aim to accelerate the widespread deployment of V2X technology. Our work is centered on improving safety for cyclists and all road users, while actively supporting the global Vision Zero initiative to eliminate road fatalities.

CROSS-SECTOR.
COMMITTED.

Our mission is to enhance road safety for cyclists by driving cross-sector collaboration and accelerating the real-world deployment of V2X technology. We believe that when stakeholders align around a shared goal, we can create a more connected and safer mobility future.

A Connected,
Safer Future

In the near future, we envision a world where bicycles are seamlessly integrated into connected traffic ecosystems through the widespread adoption of V2X technology as a key path to dramatically reducing cycling fatalities globally.

Committed to enhancing cyclist safety by accelerating the deployment of V2X technologies that improves awareness between cyclists and all road users.

No More Waiting.
The Time for DEPLOYMENT Is Now.

V2X is another important contribution to safer cycling, since it could give cyclists digital visibility for other road users. However, this requires cooperation of various players.
